DNA STRUCTURE

 

The structure of DNA, as described by Watson and Crick (1953) is a "double helix"

DNA is made of of 4 Nitrogen base pairs:

Adenine and Thymine

Cytosine and Guinine

The side of the DNA "ladder" are made up of the sugar, Deoxyribose and a Phosphate group.
